Çırakoğlu-HPC is a high-performance computing cluster established to accelerate human genetics research at Acibadem University. Named in honor of Prof. Dr. Beyazıt Çırakoğlu, this infrastructure was created to support the computational demands of large-scale genomic data analysis and facilitate the research efforts of the Acıbadem Biobank.
With the rapid growth of genomic and biomedical data, traditional computing methods often struggle to process complex datasets efficiently. Çırakoğlu-HPC was designed to address this challenge, providing high-speed data processing, advanced analytics, and scalable storage capacity to enable groundbreaking discoveries in genomic medicine, precision healthcare, and translational research. The initiative is driven by a dedicated team of researchers and faculty members, supported by the Acibadem University administration, With Çırakoğlu-HPC, Acibadem University strengthens its position as a leader in genetics and biomedical research.
The system is currently managed by the Administrative Team of Alper Bülbül, Eyüp Alper Saygılı, and Eyüp Tarık Engin, who oversee its operation and optimization to ensure maximum computational efficiency for desired research projects. If any performance issues encountered please reach out to Administrative Team.
